French term

pression non compensée

French to English Tech/Engineering Medical: Pharmaceuticals Transport protocol
Context for you..
Fabrication du TCS et remplissage des SV
Local 230
Vérification de la pression résiduelle avant utilisation
Tests de tenue en pression en fin de répartition
Mise en pression des SV plein
Local 230
Stockage et maintien des SV en pression non compensée avant transfert vers C2

Sv is the shipping container, full of live vaccine, and under pressure.
I was under the impression that non compensée applied to the unpressurised hold in an aircraft.
If so not sure what it means in this context i.e. moving from one part of a building to another.
TIA Chris.

Dr Lofthouse Mar 2, 2014:
..so it could be taken from Location 230 to C2, and put under pressure there....
Bashiqa (asker) Mar 1, 2014:
C2 is a different building.
Dr Lofthouse Mar 1, 2014:
Any idea what C2 is? Is it the outer vessel it is going to travel in, for for temperature compensation purposes, like the one here : http://www.google.com.mx/patents/US3946175 ...it would make sense of the second step....ie you then place the SV under compensated pressure 'avant expedition'..
Bashiqa (asker) Mar 1, 2014:
No, and I now have 'Stockage et maintien des SV en pression compensée avant expédition' compensated pressure.
Not at all sure what the difference is.
Jonathan MacKerron Mar 1, 2014:
have you already ruled out "(under) non-compensated pressure"?

uuncompensated pressure

"store and hold SV with uncompensated pressure before transfer to C2"

Meaning there is a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the SV (and the mechanical strength of the SV withstands this difference) and the pressure in the storage area is not adjusted to make the pressure inside and outside the SV equal.
Something went wrong...
