See below for examples. "Thinking outside the box" would also be possible but it's become a bit clicheed now - might be just the right thing for your corporate context :) Just a note on another answer: I believe the phrase is usually "paradigm shift" not "change", and to me this represents something unconventional that comes over time, almost passively ("shift"), not actively as the original implies (at least for me).

: "break the mold" is also used in American English and is practically equivalent. I don't add it because your idea is already pretty good. I think it's simply a matter of taste (feel free to post "breaking the mold" if you want)

: I think something with "paradigm" could work, but I wonder if "paradigm change" isn't a bit too literal a translation of "Paradigmenwechsel"? I'd bet that most native speakers would say "paradigm shift", which I find too slow/passive for this context

Breaking the moold
As per Brigitte's suggestion, I am posting this. Lorna, you're completely right...although we spell it "mold" on this side of the pond! Anyway, "breaking the mold" is the most direct translation, and has more of a marketing touch to it. I find that Brigitte's, on the other hand, sounds more formal and academic. I'd choose according to the context of your entire document, as both are good.
