The use of abbilden seems strange to me in this sentence

'abbilden' is programmer/analyst jargon that (like lots of programmer jargon) has migrated into the management world. It originally meant 'map' or 'depict', but it is now understood to mean everything from 'display' to 'realise'.)

You can use this terminal to depict specific departmental processes more efficiently, thus increasing efficiency (or similar)

yes, it's use is a little funny here, but 'display' or 'show' might work here

In many cases I'd just translate it as "display". Here there's a hint of it being dynamic, so I think "track" is a fair solution.
