: Prefer Far Eastern to Asian. Not sure about KO (kick off, knock out?). Duden Oxford lists both. Also prefer criterion, but that could be pedantic :-)

Right, Far Eastern is more exact and corresponds to source text. As for criterion, I debated whether using it would get me more more grief than not using it . Common usage won out over formal correctness. But input is appreciated :-)))

: KO = knockout (maybe 'exclusion' criterion) - I'd also move the 'particular'ly as IMO it doesn't refer to their interest, but to the Asian countries
