Just want to check that I'm on the right lines here. Surely "ab der ersten Mahnung" means "for every Mahnung including the first" (and not "after the first one" - i.e. from the second one onwards).
So is there any reason not to say simply "for each warning notice issued" and omit any reference to first?

Man muss sich bei der Übersetzung nicht auf die "erste" Mahnung beziehen. Man sagt das im Deutschen so.

: Ich finde schon, dass man "erste" mituebersetzen sollte, wenn es schon da steht. Woher soll denn der Leser sonst wissen, dass bei anderen Glaeubigern die erste Mahnung auch gebuehrenfrei sein koennte, waehrend sie es hier ausdruecklich nicht ist?
