Die älteren Vereinfachungen zur Ermittlung von Näherungsbeziehungen q* = f(T,t) laufen mehr oder weniger auf zwei extreme Annahmen hin:
- Reaktion(en) „nullter“ Ordnung.
- Einstufige Zersetzung, d.h. nur ein einziger Reaktionsschritt.
Dabei setzt man die erste oder die zweite oder beide zusammen ausdrücklich voraus oder man arbeitet experimentell und/oder auswertend mit Ansätzen, die den beiden Annahmen nahe kommen. Beispiele sind die Tests H.2 und H.3 in Section
