would be my suggestion here. This is a tricky one. I've seen it translated in many different ways - (rock) step, (rock) face, ascent, climb, incline, pull. What is certainly clear is that it refers to a section or feature of the route and that upward movement is definitely involved (almost vertical according to the map). I believe the "yellow" part refers to the colour of the rock on the route. Here are some nice images of the route concerned:
