Thank you in advance for your assistance!

strike while or whilst the iron is hot

already in the glossaries, though I - having given up Ancient Greek for modern German at school in the South of England a long time ago in the 'Swinging Sixties' e.g. 1960s - can't add much, except the conjunction of while scores more g/hits than whilst - the latter the form I always thought it was.

Note from asker:
Thank you so much for your answer, it really helped me a lot, and I think you might have a little more right than me by using ''while or whilst'', as well by the ''iron'' instead of ''metal''. I thing I will take your answer, thank you very much wishing you always the best in life!

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "As I previously thanked you, I am also doing the same now! I don't really need any other answer better than that. In the end, it wasn't such a hot potato for me as I've first thought, especially when there are co-translators like you who just hit the nail on the head!"
