I agree that *trovamenti* and *repertazioni* is a hendyadis, so it may be a good idea to join the two

this seems to be the best I can come up with
trovamenti = ritrovamenti = archaeological finds/findings
repertazioni = the act of collecting reperti
reperti = results in medicine, evidences/exhibits in legalese, and finds/findings in arch. contexts (synonym of the above)
in the end, the author is 'poetically' and 'elliptically' repeating the same concept twice...

it seems to me that the whole text, and the wrinting style of the author himself, are \'poetically\' based on hendyadis and other rethoric tricks, so I don\'t think it shuold be \'flattened\' down, if you get what I mean
