kera, i don't think "bianca" is "front and back". it's the odd numbered page, say, beginning from 1, and is therefore the front. your other question concerned the back.

disagree Paul O'Brien : no. the question was divided into two parts. one is the front and the other is the back. no prob. it's just that if it's in the gloss people might get confused.

front/side that is printed first

In a dictionary I have it has: "side of sheet that is printed first"

I think it would be the same to say "front" though, in this case, because "volta" means "reverse (side)".

As they are just talking about one sheet of paper, I think this would be accurate.
