the word that perplexes me is Intervento/i . I have translated these terms as "total building surface" and "two commercial operations" but does anybody have anything better?

I often use "project" for intervento;
When talking about square metres etc. English uses "area" rather than "surface", though "surface area" can be used in some contexts.
