I nearly invested in this fund. this is a mutual fund and the particular type of mutual fund in question is a "monetary fund" as opposed to a "bond fund" "equity" "balanced" or "flexible" funds. The fund manager invests the money in short term government treasury certificates. The yield is very low but so is the risk.

If you want you can put "money fund". In fact I think you should. In my view "liquidity fund" is as common as bad translations, which unfortunately is quite frequent. Go to an English site of morning star.

Seems I may well have been wrong about the "liquidity funds" being a bad translation. I go with what I am certain of.
However since Merryl Lynch seem to have liquidity funds and money funds, what is the difference if any Paul J?

I know tesoreria can be a bursary or a grant and NEXTRA appears to sponsor such grants - see http://www.pontweb.ro/english/grant/Masters-programmes-at-Cr... The "consistenza fondo liquidità" bit just says "available funding" or "cash in hand" kind of idea to me.
