Sorry, I just can't get my head round the last phrase in this sentence (from ha luogo...):
Quando esistono tra la Banca ed il Correntista più rapporti o più conti di qualsiasi genere o natura, anche di deposito, ancorché intrattenuti presso altre dipendenze italiane ed estere, ha luogo in ogni caso la compensazione di legge ad ogni suo effetto.
'statutory off-setting shall be applicable in each case....?? I think I know what it means (!) but if anyone could give a more elegant rendering, I'd be very grateful.
