Italian term

complementi

Italian to English Bus/Financial Furniture / Household Appliances Interior design
"Da cinquant’anni la società è abilità apprezzata in tutto il mondo nel risolvere idee complessive di arredo: dai pavimenti alle pareti, dai rivestimenti ai ***complementi***"
What exactly do they mean, and is there a good standard English term for it? TIA.

(furnishing) accessories

The complete term is "complementi d'arredo", meaning all the accessories which are not floors, walls, wallpapers, coatings etc.

For example, bathroom accessories, like soap holder, paper holder and the like..., but also other stuff...

I leave it medium because I'm sure you'll find out something better...

Try and search for "complementi d'arredo"
It usually means "small pieces of furniture", but also lamps, mirrors etc.
