Ooopst it's a typo!! Just been shown the source PDF, and it should be "tag" not "taq" (always assume stupidity before malice!)
"Tag" is probably a unique alphanumeric code assigned to a specific measurement instrument or sensor in the context of calibration and instrumentation.
