You might want to leave it in Italian with an explanation in parens, or use “diffuse hotel” in quotes

seemingly, there is no agreed-upon terminology yet, as most documents leave the italian in quotation marks. Of course when all else fails, that could be your way out. I did however, find one document that uses an english term which I believe offers a good solution - distributed hospitality ("albergo diffuso"). here's the link:

The best translations Ive seen amongst many entries were
“A network of tourist buildings” or
“a network of hotel buildings”
a few even say “diffused hotel”, but I’m not at all sure if that is accurate in ENglish, even if it does convey the meaning!

I wrote the an organization in Italy and this is the response they gave me:

Albergo diffuso è un modello originale di ospitalità italiano (ideato da me); non ha traduzioni. In Grecia e in Austria lo chiamano albergo diffuso. Bisognerebbe che il nome restasse italiano anche in inglese. Esattamente come il Bed & B. resta sempre in inglese!
