semirimorchio gommato

Road transport
This should be the last of my road transport terms. The phrase talks of semitrailers available for hire: "I semirimorchi sono tutti revisionati, **gommati**, coperti da assicurazione". I have been translating "gommato" as "wheeled", but obviously here it means something a bit more complex! A simple "with tyres" doesn't convince me either. Any ideas?

Note from asker:
That sounds great in the context of Gian's quote, but rather strange in my context... "The semitrailers are all serviced, wheeled, insured"? Could they be hired without wheels I ask myself? |
