Italian term

cere cunicolari

Italian to English Other Wine / Oenology / Viticulture passito production
Talking about the production of Recioto. I can only presume this refers to a kind of deposit that accumulates in the wrinkles of the grapeskin as the grapes dry and start to shrivel, but I may be way off course. Either way, I have no idea how to say it in English!

Any help appreciated.

context:

Check with the client, Simon, but the context strongly suggests this is a typo for "cere cuticolari", i.e. bloom/pruina.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "thanks Giles, looks like it may have been a misprint in fact. Dave Henderson also suggested wax bloom, so I'll add that to the gloss entry too, for the sake of completeness"
