neutral Mark Cole : I suppose that's what they intend it to mean, but the Latin says "you (plural) save/deliver us from danger... from the evil one", and it should be "a periculo... a malefico".

agree Dylan Edwards : I can't disagree with Evanescence, if that's what they want it to mean, but the Latin was probably looked up word by word in a dictionary (and the word "us" has been left out). "Serva nos e periculo" is "Deliver us from (literally: out of) danger".
