Norwegian term

IPOD var ikke via kjeden og vi tok inn varen på refakt.

Norwegian to English Bus/Financial Retail
Can anyone help clarify this sentence for me? Is refakt. short for refakturering, and is that simply reinvoicing?
Var ikke via kjeden... What exactly do they mean by that?
Thanks in advance!

Not bought through our chain

Not bought through our chain or 'not bought at one of our shops'

-- is my guess for the first part.

Try posting refakt. as a separate question. (I've got a deadline...)

IPOD was not purchased through the chain but as a restored item.

my suggestion is as I am reading it - the IPOD was not bought through regular means but was a second hand or refabricated IPOD.
