W bardzo specificznym polskim sensie 'rozliczania (czyjejś) przeszłości komunistycznej', rozliczania dawnych zbrodni, itp itd.
Nie chcę użyć 'dealing with...' bo mam to w tekście często w innej (i kluczowej dla tekstu) roli.
Zasadniczo, potrzebne mi jest bring to account ale zgrabniejsze w negatywie (czyli 'brak rozliczeń'). Lack of bringing to account brzmi fatalnie.
'Confront' nie ma elementu, no właśnie rozliczającego, 'reconcile' to w ogóle nie o to chodzi.
Może jest jakiś standard? Dużo sie w swoim czasie o rozliczaniu mówiło, ale może tylko po polsku....
