Polish to English Art/Literary Poetry & Literature
Utwór zawiera opis grajka, który na guzikówce (akordeon guzikowy) gra rzewną pieśń. Po czym wstaje i nie przestając grać idzie po polnej miedzy. Następnie jest zdanie:

Przed nami grajek dzierżący w rękach muzykę sfer.

Oczywiście, chodzi o to, że akordeon trzyma się w rękach, więc stąd to metaforyczne użycie (trzymać w rękach muzykę), ale zastanawiam się jak przetłumaczyć "dzierżyć", żeby nie miało negatywnego wydźwięku. Mam wrażenie, że takie słowa jak "gripping", gdzieś to negatywne znaczenie mają schowane w sobie.

Proszę o szybkie odpowiedzi, gdyż na rano muszę to mieć. Bardzo bardzo pięknie dziękuję z góry.

"dzierżyć" - osobliwa interpretacja w kontekście dzierżyć, to dzierżyć - nie ma krzty "negatywnego wydźwięku"; trzeba coś dolepić do tego czasownika, by zbudować jakieś emocje;
tu trzeba zwrócić uwagę na nadęty styl autora przekazu po polsku;
na szczęście, w angielskim mamy "to hold" i nikt tego tam nie uważa za ułomność stylistyczną, a fachowo ubrane - jest godne szlusowania do natywnych mistrzów
