Eu estive procurando algum termo que expressasse algum tipo de "extensão" na plataforma do andaime, que trabalhadores fazem muitas vezes, mas, como o texto é uma norma, fiquei com medo de estar improvisando.
Eu já havia mencionado que não tinha gostado da palavra "cantilever", apesar de ter achado a do Martin uma boa saída (usando a palavra "extension" que eu queria).
De qualquer jeito, creio que overhanging sections deixe o texto mais fluído, e ainda mais importante, mais simples para o público-alvo (é um vídeo instrucional sobre segurança do trabalho)."
