Portuguese term

demanda (in this context)

Portuguese to English Medical Medical: Health Care physiotherapy
The theme is "the benefits of physical activities for the elderly".

Obrigado. Tenha um bom dia.
agree Georgia Morg (X) : I would prefer number as illnesses is countable and also as it just sounds better!

demand imposed by

I believe you still want to retain the notion of 'demand' because the meaning is quite specific, implying that much needs to be done. - What's missing is the explicit connection to the diseases, which is solved with a phrase like 'imposed by'.
