Nu cred...I don't see evidence that it has been translated from Spanish. It's a difficult text to translate due to it's technicalities. Face is a common term in relation to lumber (at least in the US).

The face is the flat part of the timber. For example, if it's 4x4x10, there would be 4, each of 4x4x10, Claudia's translation is good except that the original says worst meter on one "face".

Danieline am citit contextul mai larg in care apare pasajul din referinte, daca am inteles bine este vorba despre cherestea... "can have 1 intergrown sound knot of maximum 10 mm (...) on the worst meter of one face" -ideea e ca se accepta un nod (nu stiu exact ce tip de nod e acesta...) pe suprafata (de un metru) considerata ca fiind cea mai slaba dpdv calitativ (pe una dintre fețe).
Cel mai rău/prost metru sună cam aiurea...:) Trebuie reformulat, cred eu, dar nu vad cum s-ar putea face asta in putine cuvinte...
