: Have you read the entire sentence? You can't use this attributively without saying "too frequent a disassembly or assembly," and then it becomes a tongue twister for no good reason and totally off key for the purpose.

Paraphrasing RU nouns into EN ing-forms often (I'd even say, TOO OFTEN ;)) helps

David, I don't think is frequent stripping/assembly that does the harm, it's mutiple unnecessary strippings and assemblies. But in terms of the 3 year conscription at the time, it's frequent. :-)
