Francisco de Goya
El Goya negro fue sin duda el Goya más lúcido y descarnado en la denuncia de la sinrazón, la brutalidad y el disparate.
Now, I believe that "sinrazón" can mean both injustice and madness, and I'm not sure which in this context, given that both are themes in Goya's work. What's the verdict?
I'd really appreciate your input, so thanks in advance.

injustice
My verdict! I was toying with the absurd, which it could mean, but your context points v strongly to injustice (otherwise why denuncia?).

madness
It's a difficult choice, but Goya had a great fear of madness and his black paintings in the Quinta del Sordo are often seen as an expression of this. Insanity was a great preoccupation of his. I translated a (rather controversial) book about his black paintings a few years ago, and I think the theme of these is very much more madness than injustice. He of course equated injustice with madness, and they are closely tied in the word "sinrazón"!

nonsense
In this context I think sin razon refers more to something unjust and non logical.
Example sentence:
La guerra de Afganistan existe debido a la sinrazon de los politicos mundiales.
