Una idea, nunca mejor dicho, para ver la luz.

Spanish to English Other Idioms / Maxims / Sayings
this describes a lamp that has been designed.
I am pretty sure it is an idiom/play on words...

"Lámpara: Un cable como el que podríamos utilizar en la ducha y un cilindro del color que nosotros prefiramos se unen para formar la estructura de esta inédita lámpara. Un aparato fácil de transportar, de enchufar en cualquier lugar de la casa y, gracias al cable utilizado para su fabricación, sumamente móvil, para poder enfocar donde más nos convenga. Una idea, nunca mejor dicho, para ver la luz. Y disfrutar de ello."

Thanks!

Hi Carol - it's a description but it's fairly positive/marketing...

Hi Comunican: is this simply a description, or is it for marketing purposes?

An idea that will light up your life

Hi C.,

1. Here, "nunca mejor dicho" is just intended to drive the pun home, but I'd leave it out. British humour tends to leave more to the imagination.

2. IMHO "ver la luz" or "see the light" is pretty weak. Howeer attractive, it's not the light itself but what it lights up that needs attention - underlined by the "para poder enfocar donde más nos convenga" that precedes the sentence.
There are a host of "light" idioms to choose from, with ideas such as "shed light" or "light up".

Good luck!

Just the way to help you see the light!

A suggestion. This sounds more like an advertising slogan, because 'you' makes it targeted more directly to potential buyers. Or you could just say 'The best way to help you see the light'.
Example sentence:

Reading this book is just the way to lift your spirits.

A novel idea to light your way

I used 'to light your way' as the lamp is portable, you can carry it around the house.
