réplicas de talleres

Spanish to English Other International Org/Dev/Coop Community development
Source text:

Realizar réplicas de talleres sobre higiene personal a escolares por parte de Promotores de la Salud.

Creo que habría que reordenar el original para que tenga más sentido. Mi propuesta es la siguiente:

Health promoters conduct rerun training for students in personal hygiene.

No sé, me parece que mi propuesta está demasiado segmentada? opiniones al respecto.

Prácticamente la "replica de taller" es enseñar a cierto grupo de persona lo que uno aprendió en un taller previo.

hold repeat workshops

Regarding collocation, you would 'hold a workshop' (in UK English at least) and I think réplicas here would be best translated as repeat
Example sentence:

We have a repeat workshop on January 11th

brush-up training

I like your approach in principle, though I'm not 100% sure of the real meaning. Do you have more clues from the previous context?

Note from asker:
Right, Robin. That's the actual meaning of "replica". @Muriel: The previous part refers to personal hygiene training received by health promoters. To some extent, it does make sense.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Jennifer Levey : IMHO the ST refers to the transfer of knowledge from people who have received training directly from 'experts', to other people in the community - the classic "Chinese whispers" approach to trickle-down social development, much-loved by NGOs.

That makes sense. I wasn't sure of the meaning.

replicate the workshops

The ST is saying, in essence, that after the "Promotores de Salud" have been trained, they should pass on this knowledge to school kids, in workshops that replicate the training they themselves received.

That "Chinese whispers" approach has been a part of the standard development methodology for several decades.

A literal translation works quite well:
Realizar réplicas de talleres ...
-->
Replicate the workshops ...

The final phrasing will depend on whether "Realizar" in the ST is in imperative mood or a mere infinitive - we don't have enough context to know how this fits into the ST.

Finally: whereas the "Promotores de Salud" would attend 'workshops' (i.e. special training sessions), the school-kids would more likely receive this training in the normal classroom context - i.e., in 'classes'.
