Spanish term

efecto ejecutivo

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general)
From a legal text:

basic idea: ...which makes the foreign resolution executable (I believe we are talking about execution here, not enforcement) turning it into an executable instrument ?

A bit repetitive, no? Any legal experts that can lend me a hand on this one?
TIA!
Proposed translations (English)
4 +3 enforceable

on second thought... Because of "exequátur", I do believe we are talking about enforceability...

enforceable

I just said it in a different way.

agree philgoddard : I don't know if this is the case in the Spanish, but if it were English it would be badly written.
