Este es un texto que habla de los regímenes de castración para el tratamiento del cáncer de próstata. Quisiera saber cómo se podría traducir la palabra "escapes" en este contexto:

Asumida con toda evidencia la eficacia de la castración sobre la carcinogénesis prostática, existen varias preguntas de gran importancia desde la perspectiva clínica: ¿es importante la reducción máxima de la testosterona sérica?. Esta cuestión es ahora más trascendental e intrigante ya que se tienen algunas evidencias de que los altos niveles de testosterona plasmática pueden proteger de la carcinogenesis prostática y no activar la misma. Por otro lado, también se tienen evidencias de que pequeños incrementos de testosterona sérica en pacientes sometidos a un régimen de castración (“escapes”) pueden activar la carcinogénesis prostática (J. Morote 2008).
