Spanish term

y que los segmentos anterior y septal del apex

Spanish to English Medical Medical (general)
This is from a cardiac MR report, and is really more of a grammar than terminology question, so I hope it is not inappropriate to ask here. (If anyone has recommendations for forums to discuss this I will take note)

"A nivel apical se aprecia una leve trabeculación con una fina banda laminar que tiene recorrido
oblicuo y que los segmentos anterior y septal del apex."

Is the second part of this sentence correct grammatically? There is no verb...

There is slight/mild trabeculation with a fine laminar band that runs obliquely and ?? the apical anterior and apical septal segments

I wonder if it should be "runs obliquely to" and is a mis-dictation/typo, what do you think? Am I missing something simple?

Thanks in advance.

atraviesa? There's certainly a word or words missing; in addition to "cubre" the missing word might be "atraviesa."

@Andres: I think that the ProZ rules also allow asking a question about a complete phrase or sentence (which would include a number of separate words). What's your understanding of that?

sounds like ***cubre*** is missing y que ***cubre*** los segmentos anterior y septal del apex

I think this is your best guess.
