Spanish term

bases retributivas...factor multiplicador

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Other
In a sales force incentive system manual the first is defined as 'Incentivo teórico en función de la categoría del profesional'
and the second as:
'% de Incentivo según la consecución sobre la suma de las Ventas totales contra suma de Objetivos acumulados, de todos los miembros de la misma área o equipo',
both of which makes are as clear as mud to me as I am not hot on management-speak! Help!

Discussion

Mark Solomon (asker) Jun 10, 2007:
To bigedsenior I realise that but I did not want to exceed my limits with a difficult text to do this weekend and am not sure if the glossary will be greatly enriched with multiplier for multiplicador ! :-)
bigedsenior Jun 9, 2007:
These terms should be posted as two separate questions, otherwise it muddles the glossary and you will get better answers.

compensation basis//multiplier

...or bonus factor.

The compensation can be based strictly on commission, on salary or a combination of both. Some sales positions start with an initial starter salary and then transitions to commission, or it could be salary with a commission draw. There are many possibilities.

The second, is a bonus compensation multiplying by a percentage increase on performance relative to the entire sales force performance.
