Spanish term
por duplicidad
Spanish to English
Law/Patents
Real Estate
I am having trouble understanding what por duplicidad means in this context (and the sentence in general, really).
It is from the minutes of a homeowner association meeting:
Se hace constar que se han anulado las representaciones otorgadas por los aptos. 402 y 614 a los Sres. XXXX y YYYY, por duplicidad de las mismas. XXXX y el Sr. YYYY están de acuerdo con su anulación.
Así mismo se han anulado, con posterioridad a la junta, las representaciones otorgadas por los aptos. 505,506 y G-23, por estar pendiente de inscripción en el registro de la propiedad la adjudicación de herencia.
I'm not sure if it's (1) duplication (they can only have representation from one property) or (2) duplicity (because it would somehow be untoward for them them to have representation from these apartments).
I am also a little unsure about the "por estar pendiente" part as well.

The asker's first permutation 1) of doubled-up powers of representation. Messers XX and YY agreed to annulament so unlikely to be a duplicitous plot 2) - cf. Allegro.
... por estar pendiente de inscripción en el registro de la propiedad la adjudicación de herencia > maybe better to post as a separate question, but not strictly 'due to' as being grammatically referable to a subject, e.g. the Brexit mess is due to many factors so:
as the vesting of the inheritance is > owing to the *estate-vesting assent* being > pending (awaiting) registration at the Land Registry (not property register - lower casing - as this, in the UK, would imply one part-only of a Charge (with-mortgages) or Land (no-mortgage) Certificate, the other short sections being the charges (mortgages) register and the proprietorship (land title) register.
PS Many years ago, I as a law clerk used to have 'assent forms' stamped for 50p at the Stamp Duty Office on the Aldwych in London.
The Administration of Estate Act (Northern Ireland) 1955:
'Without prejudice to any other power conferred by this Act on personal representatives with respect to any land of a testator or intestate, the personal representatives may execute an *assent vesting any estate or interest in any such land in* the person entitled thereto...'
