Spanish term

condiciones de exigencia para la formación

Spanish to English Other Transport / Transportation / Shipping
Las condiciones de exigencia para la formación de los maquinistas deben ser ampliadas y homologadas en toda Europa en un nivel alto.

My try:
Training standards for train drivers should be expanded and type-approved throughout Europe to a high level.

Would this be training standards, training requirements, or something else?

Thank you.

Same difference: Again, the "training standards / training requirements " could also refer to the level of skills (in potential students) required for course entry. However, I think my suggestion also covers the requirements demanded of the course and trainers, as well as the prospective trainees. At least, that's how it is intended.
Ana Vozone Dec 14, 2014:
Skill level required I understand this as "the minimum skill level required" to attend/to complete training.

The way I see it, training standards and training requirements amount to the same thing.
