Not sure how to render this:
El primer mosto debe filtrarse hasta conseguir un acabado brillante.
None of the obvious translations sound right.

glossy finish

Hi,
This is how I´d translate it.
Saludos,
Gloria

* "Blackberry and mulberry fruit, very chewy, with a long finish and hints of licorice and even mint, but all held together by strong tannins and a luscious, **glossy finish**."

agree Lisa McCarthy : Sounds like it would be more suited to describe paper but wines are sometimes described as having a 'glossy finish'.

Hi Lisa, I know! It sounds more like the way you´d describe a picture, but apparently it´s also the way to describe wine. You learn something new everyday. Thanks! :)

Glossy finish

Madfish Carnelian 2004

Carnelian is a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon / Carignan and Grenache and a varietal that has its origins in California. This one is an ink staining glorious purple and very deep, dark and alluring. Blackcurrants, spicy plums, blackberries, mocha chocolate and cedary oak all abound from the aromas. Soft and smooth on the palate with a ***glossy finish** and fine assertive tannins. Quite an elegant yet powerful red that drinks well, very well actually. Try this with beef and mushroom pie.
