strolling around looking at the potherbs

"Rundan" in itself has the inherent meaning of being a course which you walk (or sometimes run) around, cf. tipsrunda (quiz walk), the TV show "Antikrundan" where the host strolls around an exhibition hall with antiques and interviews people about what they have on display.

So you dont really "look at" rundan, you walk it, while looking at the herbs along the way. "Köksväxter" are plants and herbs for cooking purposes.
Peer comment(s):

agree Görel Bylund : I agree with the explanation, but du you really regard cabbage heads or carrots as potherbs?

No - by no means. :-) As the confidence meter indicates this is more an explanation for Charles to be able to judge what is more fitting, not a perfect translation.
