So tell me when is a tender not a tender, and what is a tender, if not a quotation (or vice versa), and when is a quotation binding or not, as opposed to a tender, tender offer, quote, or price quote? All of these usually state a validity period, which is generally binding in business practice, if not legally. Does your text have this?

So why not go with your own word, Tender? Used in UK, EU and US ...
