Had to rephrase to make it fit with the idea of förnya but the English phrase is spot on here

be entrusted to
I think you might need to adjust the syntax of the sentence slightly, but "få förtroende att" can mean "be entrusted to", which I understand as the meaning of this sentence.
I hope this is of some help!

Or indeed, "entrusted us with acquiring". You can play around with it as you need to.

My apologies, as Charles states below, that should read 'manage' or 'managing' rather than acquire.

My apologies, as Charles states below, that should read 'manage' or 'managing' rather than acquire.
Example sentence:
It is pleasing that X has further entrusted us to acquire properties in this portfolio for another contract period.

Charles Ek
: I'll go along with some construction using "has entrusted us again" or the like, but the contract involves managing ("förvalta") properties, not acquiring them.

Yes, indeed. 'Manage', not 'acquire'. My mistake.

: What happened to 'förnyat'? Re peer response: Tricky, but why include the context if it is to be ignored?

I understand your point, George, although 'förnyat' is not the term which is being asked, rather forms part of the context.

extend our trusteeship
The sentence could then read, "It is gratifying that X has extended beyond the contract time period our trusteeship over the properties in this portfolio." See definitions of "trustee" and "trusteeship" (i.e., "position or function of a trustee") following links below.
