Very cunning
I suppose after a while you might stop getting projects assigned but in terms of gaming the system, as it were, it might make them stop and think about how to approach the issue. And why they have an issue to be approached in the first place....

I work for an agency where all translation reviews are outsourced to an external company.
The agency sends my unedited translations directly to the external company.
So, I know how ridiculous the reviews and edits can get at times with the external reviewers.

You will waste so much time arguing with the reviewer that it will simply not be worth your time to work for this client.

I would tell the client politely but firmly that this is not acceptable.

Best of luck!
