We often get documents which are scanned pages, PDF files or badly prepared .doc files. Here you can learn to prepare them for translation either in CAT tool or as they are — saving time and senses :).
The point of this course is to provide you with tips that will help you reduce amount of time required to prepare document for translation and to deliver good-looking and clear document to a customer. Most of the tips presented in this course are based on software that you already have so that you could use them immediately. Moreover, majority of functionalities included here can be configured within a few minutes and saved for further multiple use.
Whether you use CAT tools or not you will not only learn how to configure functionalities mentioned during the course but also how to create your own ones.
The content of this course refers only to simple (but rarely used) functions offered by the well-known software and does not require advanced knowledge (e.g. regular expressions, html source code). Therefore, it is suitable even for those translators who do not feel well in dealing with computers.
