Description This workshop is designed for basic SDL Trados Studio 2015 users. Participants will learn all main new basic tricks and features in order to be able to completely exploit the software and learn how to deal with most common file formats. You will learn how to build your own TMs or import TMs you receive from an agency, both in SDLTM and TMX format. You will also learn how to build and manage a Glossary (also called Terme Base) with SDL Multiterm 2015. See the program section below for a complete detail of the topics to be covered during the session. Target audience This course is addressed to professional translators who wish to start using SDL Trados Studio 2015 and want to learn all new tricks and tips in order to enhance and increase their own translation daily productivity. Learning objectives After attending this webinar the learner will be able to create his own project with SDL Trados Studio 2015, both Standard Projects and Single File Projects. He/She will learn how to manage a TMX TM format received from an agency and convert it into an SDLTM format - Any Term List from a MS-Excel or MS-Word file can be converted into an SDL MultiTerm file and using it with one's own projects. The learner will get familiar with the translation of PDF files thanks to this excellent new feature provided by SDL Trados Studio 2015. Prerequisites No specific knowledge on CAT TOOLs is required.
