Experienced translator, copy-editor and interpreter

I am of British/German nationality (English mother tongue), with fluent, near-native level French, fluent German and intermediate Italian.

Currently based in the South of France, I have been working as a freelance translator and copy-editor since September 2009, continuing to consolidate my experience in the translation field, while also offering English teaching/training and interpreting services.

The creation of my translation company followed 3.5 years spent building up substantial experience working in-house as a Technical Translator and Project Manager at a translation and communications company in the Paris region
=> in-depth knowledge of the automotive and nuclear/alternative energy fields in particular.

This followed 3 years of invaluable experience working as a Translation Proofreader/Editor and Project Coordinator at a translation agency based in London.
