Bio
“Great communication and work over an urgent French translation job. Thank you!” (see my WWA).

Ever noticed how different compliments feel when they come from someone else than yourself?

Still, self-praise feels ok too, so I would add this:

A 9-year experience as creative director and linguistic manager within the Nomen Group and my advanced education in linguistics at LA SORBONNE have given me a rich insight into translation and trans-cultural issues.

I have been sharing my time between France and USA (California, Boston) over the past three years (I am currently staying in Cambridge, Massachusetts).

I am best at English to French translations, but am also interested in French to English and Middle French to English (I am passionate about Middle French, late Middle Age and Renaissance). I also enjoy Latin to French and English translations.

My preferred fields are marketing, branding, literature, economics, business in general , but I am open to many other fields, such as art, archaeology and antiques , which are others of my passions (see my web gallery http://www.beauvoirantiques.com).

Reactivity and availability are qualities I try to put forward in my work, and I do enjoy helping a team facing a deadline crunch late at night or during the week-end.

So contact me whenever you need me!
