I started studying English very early in life. English has been part of my professional life for many years.

I worked as an English teacher for 22 years. During that time, I took part in a number of seminars and courses (in Brazil and abroad) to improve my skills.
I have the Certificate of Proficiency in English (University of Michigan), CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) (Cambridge University) and CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) (Cambridge University). I was an oral examiner for the University of Cambridge for about 5 years.

I have worked as a full-time translator for 15 years now and have translated hundreds of technical and non-technical documents. My main areas of expertise are IT, Management, Human Resources, Health, IT, Tourism, QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment),  Technical Manuals and Mining, among others.

I translate from English into Portuguese, and from Portuguese into English. The CAT TOOL I use at the moment is Trados Studio 2014.
