Source text - English OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Introduction
All instructions should be read and fully understood by all crew members before attempting
to operate this rig. It is impossible to anticipate every kind of problem or condition that may
be encountered in the use of the rig, but compliance with instructions and suggestions set
forth in this operating manual will assist the operator in successfully operating the rig.
Failure to operate and maintain the rig in accordance with this operating manual may affect
the warranty covering the rig. The information contained in this operating manual shall not
in any way relieve the operator of the responsibility for exercising reasonable care and
prudence in the operation of this equipment. Proceed slowly and carefully during all rig
operations, especially during initial rig-up. Always watch for falling objects during rig-up
operations (i.e. tools, debris, etc.) During all operations, always watch for interference of
lines, hoses, etc. with any moving equipment. Before operating any hydraulic equipment,
circulate and bleed hydraulic oil as prescribed in the operating instructions. Air in
hydraulic systems can cause accidents. Never open or close a control valve abruptly, this can
cause severe shock loads resulting in structural damage. As with any piece of heavy
machinery, caution must be exercised at all times to prevent damage to equipment and/or
injury to personnel.
2. Preparation for Roading
Move the hydraulic diverter valve to the closed position. Move the hydraulic jack control to
the lower position, one at a time, to retract the hydraulic jacks. Screw the mechanical
jackscrews in each hydraulic jack to the fully retracted position. The hydraulic jacks should
always be secured in the fully retracted position before roading. Move the hydraulic diverter
to the open position. With the engine at idle speed and the carrier transmission in neutral,
move the drop gear box to the road position. All rig equipment and accessories are to be
properly secured to prevent damage or loss during vehicle movement. All folding walkways
must be folded up and secured. All loose tools should be secured in tool box doors to
prevent accidental opening during transportation. All controls on the driller's console
should be in the off or neutral position. All other air and hydraulic controls should be in the
off or neutral position. The mast should be properly aligned resting on the headache rack.
The traveling block should be properly secured to the mast. Jack stands and wheel blocks
should be properly stored.
3. Driving Instructions
Caution: Due to the size and high center of gravity, caution must be observed when
moving the vehicle. When backing the vehicle or when moving the vehicle in a confined
area, the driver should be assisted by a "spotter". The "spotter" should aide the driver by
giving him directions concerning turning and how far to move. The "spotter" should always
be on the ground away from the vehicle, and in full view of the driver. The vehicle should
not be operated at high speeds while cornering or while on rough terrain. This could cause
severe damage to the vehicle or possible injuries to the personnel. Extreme caution must be
observed when operating the vehicle near objects with low ground clearance, such as
underpasses, bridges, or electrical power lines. Also, due to the high weight of the vehicle,
extreme caution must be observed when operating the vehicle on soft pavement or small
bridges. Whenever possible, do not drive on or near the shoulder of a roadway. The weight
of the vehicle could cause the shoulder to collapse, which in turn could cause the vehicle to
overturn.
WARNING: ABSOLUTELY NO PERSONNEL SHOULD BE ALLOWED ON
THE RIG
WHILE MOVING, EXCEPT FOR RIG OPERATOR.
4. Operator's Control
A. Air System
Air to the rig is supplied from the carrier's air compressor system. An air pressure gauge is
provided to indicate the rig air system operating pressure. CAUTION: Do not attempt to
operate rig if the air pressure gauge indicates less than 100 psi or more than 130 psi.
The in-line air dryer is mounted upstream from the air control valves and supplies dry air to
the operator's console. The air volume tank in the rig is equipped with a drain valve located
at the bottom of the tank. Condensate should be drained from the tank daily before
operations begin.
B. Hydraulic System
An hydraulic pressure gauge is provided to indicate the rig hydraulic system's operating
pressure. CAUTION: The rig hydraulic system should not be operated at pressures in
excess of 2,500 psi. The hydraulic system pump is a gear pump, driven by the rig drop gear
box. One section of the pump supplies fluid to the rig hydraulic system. To engage power
to the hydraulic system the carrier transmission must be in neutral with the engine
at idle speed. Move the control lever on the rig drop gear box to the winch position and then
shift the carrier transmission to the normal gear for winch operations. Engine speed can be
controlled with the main drum clutch/throttle control as described in section I.6.D.
Diverter Control Valve- The diverter valve must be in the closed position during mast
raising/lowering, scoping and rig jacking operations. With the valve in this position all rig
hydraulic equipment can be operated. After mast raising/lowering, scoping, and rig jacking
operations are complete, the diverter valve should be returned to the open position. With
the valve in the open position hydraulic pressure is diverted away from the hydraulic raising,
scoping, and jack cylinders.
Auxiliary / Catline Winch Control Valve- The auxiliary / catline winch is used for general
lifting operations on and around the rig work platform. To lift, move the valve control
handle to the raise position. To lower, move the valve control to the lower position.
Tubing Break Out Control Valve- The rig is equipped with an hydraulic cylinder assembled with a wire rope running through a series of sheaves and tied off to tubing tongs. The cylinder is used to break out tight tubing joint threads during pipe tripping operations. To operate the cylinder, place the break-out tongs on the tubing to be broken out and rotate tongs until all slack is out of the wire rope connecting the tongs to the break-out cylinder. Move the break-out cylinder control valve handle to the break-out position. When the cylinder has traveled through its stroke, retract the cylinder by moving the valve control handle to the opposite position. Repeat this operation as many times as necessary to loosen tubing joint.

3. Instrucciones de manejo
Precaución: Debido al tamaño y elevado centro de gravedad, debe de conducirse con precaución el vehículo. Cuando se eche en reversa o cuando el vehículo se ha movido en un área confinada, el conductor deberá ser auxiliado por un observador. El observador debe de auxiliar al conductor dándole indicaciones con respecto a los giros y que tanto es posible mover el vehículo. El observador siempre deberá permanecer en tierra lejos del vehículo, y siempre visible para el conductor. El vehículo no debe de ser operado en altas velocidades cuando se encuentra virando o en terrenos escarpados. Esto puede causar severos daños al vehículo o la posibilidad de lesiones al personal. Se debe extremar la precaución cuando se opera el vehículo cerca de objetos con baja altura, tales como viaductos, puentes o líneas de instalaciones eléctricas. Asimismo debido al alto peso de este vehículo, se debe extremar la precaución cuando el vehículo es operado sobre terreno suave o pequeños puentes. Siempre que sea posible, no conduzca cerca del borde de la calzada. El peso del vehículo puede hacer que el borde colapse, el cual con el giro podría volcarse.
PRECAUCIÓN: DE MANERA ABSOLUTA NO DEBE DE PERMITIRSE NINGÚN EMPLEADO SOBRE LA PERFORADORA
MIENTRAS ÉSTA SE ENCUENTRA MOVIENDO, CON EXCEPCIÓN DEL OPERADOR.
4. Controles del operador
A. Sistema de aire
El aire la perforadora se suministra por medio del sistema de compresor del aire del vehículo transportador. Se encuentra equipado un medidor de la presión del aire para indicar la presión de operación del sistema en la perforadora. PRECAUCIÓN: No intente operarla perforadora si el indicador de presión indica menos de 100 psi o más de 130 psi.
El disecador en línea del aire, se encuentra montado en la parte superior de las válvulas de control del aire, y suministra aire seco a la consola del operador. El tanque volumétrico de aire de la perforadora, se encuentra equipado con una válvula para drenaje localizada en la parte baja del tanque. B. Sistema hidráulico
Se encuentra equipado un indicador de la presión hidráulica, para indicar la presión de operación de los sistemas hidráulicos de la perforadora. La bomba del sistema hidráulico es una bomba de engranes, accionada mediante la caja desmultiplicadora de la perforadora. Una sección de la bomba suministra fluido al sistema hidráulico de la perforadora. Para usar la fuerza hidráulica, la transmisión del vehículo transportador deberá estar en neutral con el motor trabajando a velocidad ralentí. Mueva la palanca de control en la caja desmultiplicadora a la posición de cabrestante (winch) y acto seguido mueva el cambio en la transmisión del transportador al cambio normal para operaciones con cabrestante. La velocidad del motor puede ser controlada mediante el control del embrague del tambor principal/acelerador así como es descrito en la sección I.6.D. Válvula de control desviadora. - la válvula del desviador debe de encontrarse en la posesión de cerrado durante que él levantamiento/descenso del mástil, extensionamiento y operaciones de levantamiento con gatos. Con la válvula en esta posición todo el equipo hidráulico de la perforadora puede ser operado. Después de completar el levantamiento/descenso del mástil, extensionamiento y operaciones de levantamiento de la perforadora, la válvula de derivación deberá de regresarse a la posición de abierta. Con la válvula en la posición abierta la presión hidráulica es derivada lejos del elevador hidráulico, extensionamiento y cilindros de los gatos.
Válvula de control de la línea del cabrestante de servicio/elevador auxiliar. - El cabrestante de servicio/elevador auxiliar se utiliza para las operaciones generales del levantamiento alrededor de la plataforma de perforación. Para levantar, mueva la manija de la válvula de control a la posición de elevar. Para bajar, mueva la válvula de control a la posición inferior.
Válvulas de control para el desacople de la tubería. - La perforadora esté equipada con un conjunto de cilindro hidráulico con un cable de acero que corre por una serie de poleas y está amarrado a unas tenazas para tubo. El cilindro se utiliza para acoplar o desacoplar las uniones roscadas durante las operaciones de enganche en la tubería. Para hacer funcionar el cilindro, coloque las tenazas del desacople en la tubería a ser seccionada y haga girar las tenazas hasta que no haya juego en el cable de amarre que conecta las tenazas con el cilindro de desacople. Using torque wrench, tighten Allen plug to 18 lb-ft (24 Nm).

This list of safe behaviors focuses on reducing injury risks that are specific to the team’s work site.
Next, the team trains observers who then take the checklist into the workplace to observe and give feedback to workers.
Data compiled from these observations helps the BBS team to determine the extent to which workers are using the new precautions.
The data can also identify organizational influences that may tempt workers to take inappropriate risks.
Reports generated from this data can help the BBS team to track the adoption rate of new safety habits and more clo[1}sely align organizational influences with the goal of workplace safety.{2]

Software change is normally a significant driver of risk. Our unrivalled project management expertise allows us to effectively manage delivery risk and risk mitigation which is a key factor that is weighed when considering the scope of any customisation.
1.1 A Phased Approach
Our ability to deliver is evidenced by the fact that the X stream solution was implemented and operational for Japannext within 4 months from contract signing and for DIFX within 6 months. AJT OMX will develop a sound understanding of the CVSA market and the region in which it operates. The relative geographical proximity of the development and support team in Sydney Australia, further enhances our delivery capabilities.
We believe that CVSA is ultimately best positioned to determine the cost/risk/benefit balance of each specific customisation. The Design Study phase is designed to allow our clients to work with AJT OMX and, by gaining an understanding of the capabilities of the system, weigh up these considerations. Through this process CVSA can chose to remove or add requirements or opt for alternative approaches that X stream may offer, all of which will help in finalising the project scope, cost and timeframe. The legal terms and conditions and level of services to be provided are also clarified at this time which may also impact upon costs.
Our proposal is based upon a three phase implementation approach, the Design Study, Implementation Delivery Project and Post Implementation support.
1.2 Design Study
The current proposal is based on AJT OMX best understanding of the RFI however AJT OMX always commences each delivery project with a Design Study. Feedback from our clients supports our belief in the efficacy of this process as it provides both parties with a detailed understanding of scope and delivery expectations. The AJT OMX project team will closely work with CVSA to fully define the scope of the functional and technical requirements of the delivery phases. At the conclusion of the Design Study a fixed price agreement for project delivery, licensing and support will be formulated.
