Bio
I'm passionate about language's effectiveness in a given context.

In more than 10 years in the financial world of Switzerland's largest city, Zurich, working for two of the big four auditing and consulting firms,

I have gathered in-depth experience in how companies should communicate in order to reach their target audience effectively.

There is no "one fits all" approach in corporate communication.

My top specialisation is financial market supervisory legislation.

My other forte is adapting texts for a Swiss readership (adverts, websites, medical questionnaires, etc.) that were initially targeted at Germany.

My other passion is the medical world, having done quite a few translations (Tissue Engineering) for the research department of the Zurich University Hospital.

I also enjoyed translating the study course descriptions for two universities of applied sciences in Switzerland, mainly active in the biomedical and pharmaceutical field.

I also translated comics aimed at children with severe illnesses that explain to them what happens inside their bodies - all wrapped into an adventure involving superheroes (MediKids).

Quite a challenge but fascinating!

Time allowing, I translate for an aid organisation for free.
