Zakrzepica żył głębokich to również względnie częsta manifestacja procesów nowotworowych, zwłaszcza u ludzi młodych.
W mojej ocenie pacjent powinien mieć wykonane zarówno badania w kierunku trombofilii jak i badania przesiewowe w kierunku nowotworów.
Translation - English The deep vein thrombosis, the patient suffered from, is – similarly to pulmonary embolism – a form of venous thromboembolism, and further haematological diagnostics for blood clotting disorders should be carried out.
Deep vein thrombosis is also a relatively frequent manifestation of cancerous processes, especially in young people.
In my view, the patient should undergo both tests for thrombophilia and screenings for cancers.

Any irregularities during sample entry often continue to disrupt normal workflow throughout the entire process. Each year in Germany alone hundreds of patients will receive a misdiagnosis or incorrect treatment due to false positive or false negative lab results, potentially causing consequences for patients ranging from negative psychosocial impacts to fatalities.
