English to Persian (Farsi): Differential response of wheat cultivars to subsoil salinity/sodicity
Source text - English Soils with high salt concentrations in topsoil and subsoils are widespread, and reduce growth and yield of crops in Australia and many regions of the world. Soil salinity/sodicity directly affects plant growth through osmotic stress and nutrient disorders. Subsoil salinity/sodicity generally restricts root growth and reduces water and nutrient extraction from subsoil resulting in poorer plant growth, and lower crop yields.

Experience
Years of experience: 24. Registered at ProZ.com: May 2007.
As a freelance translator I have been working with both the translation institutions and personal clients in Iran for almost 10 years now. After a brief halt to my translation activities because of my immigration to Australia, I have decided to resume my translation activities in the new land by updating my profile here at ProZ after a long time. Working as a senior research staff at a reputable agricultural research centre, I'm quite comfortable translating almost any kind of English documents into Persian and vice versa in a wide range of bio sciences subjects. I also consider myself a veteran translator in other mainstream normal fields such as psychology, philosophy and politics. Doing this for such a long time now, I know what does it mean to work with deadlines and to be able to provide an accurate and excellent quality service as quick as possible and I believe this is the key difference between an efficient translator and the rest of the guys doing this profession that is being able to meet such delicate and at the same time enormous challenge.
