Jane Lamb-Ruiz (X) May 9, 2005:
Is this an accounting report for an insurance company or a technical article on the insurance industry? Not that it will make all that much difference but it would be interesting to know

disagree cmwilliams (X) : no, this is a specific type of insurance

I think this is a balance sheet term on the insurance company's balance sheet...it's includes breakage.....
disagree margaret caulfield : I don't believe this would be covered by any insurance policy. "Breakerage/s would be but not "breakdown", which is fortuitous.

Margaret...I didn't say anything about breakdowns...I said Machine failures....
disagree Neil Crockford : The extract is about the loss ratio in various classes of insurance - Industrial Risks, Public LIability, Miscellaneous Risks, and Machinery Breakdown.
